My Therapy Style:
I know how scary it can be to start therapy with a complete stranger. My hope is that from the moment we first connect, my warm, down to earth personality puts you at ease. While I do draw from different modalities, my natural style is mostly what is called “humanistic”. This modality of therapy assumes you are a whole person with a natural drive to learn and grow. I find that this approach resonates with my values including authenticity, self-growth, empathy, self-understanding, and positive regard for self/ others. I believe we are all doing our best at any given moment and as we learn more and gain the tools we need, we make better choices for ourselves. I love Dr. Maya Angelou’s quote “I did then what I knew how to do. Now that I know better, I do better”. So, I hope you hear this above everything else, I hold no judgement of you, I trust you are always doing the best you can.

I received my Bachelor's degree in psychology and my Master's degree in counseling from California State University, Northridge. In 2020, I started the process of specializing in couple’s work.
